Summary:This book presents 34 works by Andor Weininger (1899-1986), a student of the Bauhaus whose stage designs were essential to theater experiments at the famous art and design school and who was a central figure in the legendary Bauhaus Band. The paintings were a gift of his wife, Eva, to the museum. Included are: annotated checklist of his art, chronology of his life, Eva's reminiscences of their life in Weimar and Dessau.
